Brenda is the best! She has helped me with my insecurity lol. With me being persistent with my visits and her being great at her job we have gotten rid of my unwanted hair. So thankful for that!!

I've already experienced a few electrolysis sessions before, so I didn't think there would be a difference between different shops. I found Ms. Brenda on Groupon, and I wanted to continue managing my facial hair (eyebrows, lips, chin). She is amazing! I chose the hour long session and she asked if I've had the procedure done before just to gauge my experience of enduring the process. She was sweet enough to use numbing cream on my lip and eyebrows because if some of you don't know: THIS CAN BE A PAINFUL (BUT WORTH IT) PROCESS.

She made me feel very comfortable throughout and is a very sociable person. I let her have free reign with my eyebrows since they are so bushy, and she did a beautiful job cleaning them up. I can appreciate her asking my input on a few rouge hairs which she was hesitant on whether to remove them or not. I definitely recommend her for both those starting the electrolysis process and for those seasoned individuals!

Very experienced, nice lady to trust with your face and body! Would recommend anyone looking for an electrolosys specialist!

I have had hair removal treatments by multiple different professionals. Brenda is by far the best at her craft. She is clean, professional, efficient and very friendly. Cannot say enough about her exceptional work.

SO pleasant, knowledgeable, professional! I admire how hardworking and dedicated Brenda is and how many years she's spent polishing her work and reputation. She's got the bedside manner that you'd like to see in an esthetician, where you feel like you spent time with a down-to-earth, entertaining and somehow familiar conversational partner who is all the while respectfully and supportively focusing on the prickly (client) and tedious (esthetician) task of banishing those bothersome temporary attributes from your body. She warned me there would be small welts but I haven't seen any from the last three appointments, but progress - yes.

Brenda is very professional and as gentle as she can be given that this is electrolysis and hurts. She explains everything thoroughly and listens to your cues to stop, change locations, or keep going. She is thoughtful and considerate as well as hygienic.

I've been getting electrolysis before on my face, so I was not a total novice when I found Brenda. I got a Groupon for two treatments and have had them both by now.
She is really great, very friendly and easy to talk to. The location is centrally located in Walnut Creek and there was parking available both times I was there. I was able to get an appointment quickly, which is also a big plus for me.
The treatment room is nice and cozy and very clean. The treatment itself was pretty good, too. Unfortunately, I didn't listen to her the second time and failed to drink enough water and skip the caffeine before the treatment. So it HURT. But if you go with those tips, you can get through it.
She does the treatment with lye, which I had never had before. The bumps on my face went away within a day or so, so there was no difference compared to other methods without lye.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Brenda. Don't know whether I will be back though, because it is quite a schlepp from Oakland.

I went to her after getting a groupon. I have seen her once, and will update after completing hair removal. So far, I like everything- she was nice, everything was really clean, the location was easily accessible. The thing that impressed me a lot about Brenda is that she has like 26+ year experience (I might be wrong that may be 28- i cant remember). Point is, I wouldn't let someone do this without having experience because it is so important when there can be so many unique skin/hair types. She knows them all!

After driving to Monterey from Oakland to get treatments from a dear friend, it's comforting to know I have found someone local who is GREAT! Brenda is inviting, personal, professional and a true professional. Her office is clean, comfortable and the location is excellent with easy FREE parking with Macy's on one side and Whole Foods on the other. So thankful I found her
